About the Creators

TRANSFORM is a collaborative course created by educators of ESCP Business School and the Universities of Heidelberg, Mannheim, Sorbonne, Warsaw and Copenhagen. Feel free to get in touch with any questions!

 

Gorgi Krlev

Gorgi is passionate about social innovation and entrepreneurship, sustainable finance and impact measurement. He is an Associate Professor in the Sustainability Department of ESCP Business School in Paris. Social Innovation – Comparative Perspectives (open access), which he co-wrote and edited won a best book award of the Academy of Management (AOM). #AirMOOC, which he lead-developed and which builds the basis for TRANSFORM, was awarded for impact on stakeholders by the U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE).

 
 

Deborah Wallet-Wodka

Deborah works in the the field of frugal innovation and entrepreneurship, and is specially interested in student entrepreneurship and all the innovation ecosystem inside science dedicated universities. She is a professor at Sorbonne University where she has created the Master of Innovation Management in which hundreds of students are learning to be entrepreneurs or project managers exclusively in scientific domains such as pharmaceuticals, environment, energy, and many more.

 
 

Dominika Wruk

Dominika is an assistant professor for Sustainable Entrepreneurship at the University of Mannheim. She is interested in how organizational models and concepts emerge, how they are adopted and adapted by organizations and thus diffuse across regions and industries, and how they shape organizational fields, the economy and society. In her research on the sharing and platform economy, she studies the social, ecological and economic impact of different types of these new organizational forms.

 
 

Mikołaj Pawlak

Mikołaj studies the less pleasant social phenomena like ignorance and failure. He works at the Institute of Social Prevention and Resocialization of the University of Warsaw. He recently co-authored a book Ignorance and Change: Anticipatory Knowledge and the European Refugee Crisis. In his research, he looks at interactions of social actors who attempt at overcoming failures and shortages of knowledge. He believes in the civic involvement of scholars and serves at the supervisory board of The Foundation for Social Diversity.

 

Oskar Kulik

Oskar is a sustainable development expert in BNP Paribas Poland. His areas of expertise are sustainable finance (especially Sustainability Linked Loans) and analyzing climate and energy policy development and its impact on the bank. Oskar is also a PhD candidate at the University of Warsaw, where he works on a dissertation on the spread (cascadization) of climate policy. Before his work for BNP Paribas Oskar worked for NGOs: WWF Poland and ClientEarth. Oskar started his career with internships in (inter)governmental organizations during his master program in Sustainable Development at Utrecht University.

 

Ghita Dragsdahl Lauritzen

Ghita teaches and researches collaborative innovation with a particular passion for the tensions that emerge as separate partners engage in joint projects. Prior to joining UCPH she was at the University of Cambridge (UK), the MIT Sloan School of Management (USA), Copenhagen Business School, and the Technical University of Denmark. Before entering academia, she worked as a game designer/consultant using gamification as a catalyst for innovation and user involvement in public and private settings.

 

Teis Hansen

Teis’ work is focused on economic geography, innovation studies and sustainability transitions. He is interested in topics such as the importance of spatial aspects of innovation processes for sustainability transitions; transformative innovation policy; the role of innovation in the bioeconomy; opportunities and barriers to green urban and regional development; and technology transfer from developed to emerging economies within the field of renewable energy. He returned to the University of Copenhagen in 2021 after spending close to a decade at Lund University (SWE)

 
 

Tina Leitgeb

Tina is a master’s student at the Copenhagen Business School, working on the TRANSFORM project as a research assistant. She became interested in Social Entrepreneurship during her bachelor’s at Vienna University of Economics and Business where she wrote her thesis on Impact Measurement in Social Impact Bonds. Tina is furthermore interested in sustainability and cross-cultural learning.
